Helping you develop your marketing staff

Cup of tea version:

Here’s a very specific offer for you.

Sometimes, working with clients can highlight a need within their teams to increase skill levels, in some very specific areas.

These are areas where traditional training organisations may not have an offer*.

I’m thinking about:

  • Learning to think strategically, (including why this doesn’t mean ‘doing a Gant chart’.)
  • Learning to brief, and manage, marketing suppliers better, (including, how to help those suppliers make you look good…)
  • Learning to express, and thus sell, their ideas better (via stronger and better delivered presentations).

There are training products already complete or underway for all these areas. My aim is to provide fun, informal and interactive sessions that are tailored to your staff and their competence level.

All training feedback to date has been very positive. Furthermore, as my company doesn’t have a Bentley or a lot of backroom staff to fund, overall costs can be extremely modest.

If any of the learning areas above rang bells with you, here’s an even more modest cost. Zero. That’s what I’ll charge to talk to you about any skills gap you perceive in your team.

Please note one more thing. If you have a training opportunity that Spring Thinking can’t fulfil, I won’t tell you I can. And I won’t pass your details to anyone else unless you ask me to.

*Perhaps they may, but it will involve you sending your staff away to a seminar at the Grosvenor, London. Or, worse, to a hotel in Harrogate, whence they will return with a large bar bill and, quite possibly, a new relationship / office feud / divorce or two in the offing.
